Product Description:
The VEP30.3CCN-256NN-MAD-128-NN-FW is an embedded operator terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VEP Embedded Terminals series. The unit combines a touchscreen display with a compact industrial PC so that machine builders can integrate visualization, parameter entry, and diagnostic functions directly at the point of use on a cabinet door or mounting arm. It serves as a human-machine interface in automated cells, packaging lines, and assembly stations.
Its front panel carries an 8.4 in TFT display that renders graphics at 800 × 600 pixels and supports 262144 color shades, giving operators clear status indication without external monitors. A Celeron 600 MHz processor runs the control software, while 256 MB of SDRAM handles runtime variables and 128 MB of flash stores the operating system, recipes, and event logs. Communication with higher-level networks is provided through one RJ45 10/100Base-T Ethernet port, and local peripherals such as barcode scanners or memory sticks attach through two USB 2.0 sockets. A 9-pin RS232 D-Sub connector supports legacy serial devices. The aluminum housing occupies 296 mm in width, 200 mm in height, and 75 mm in depth, allowing installation in shallow enclosures or swing arms.
The electronics draw power from a 24 V DC control circuit and never exceed 36 W, so the terminal can share the same low-voltage supply used by sensors and I/O modules. The front foil, touchscreen, and bezel achieve IP65 protection when correctly gasketed, resisting dust and water jets on production floors. The rear section has an IP20 enclosure that is suited for protected cabinet interiors. This layout keeps the operator-facing surface available at the machine while the connections remain inside the cabinet or support arm.
