The VDP40.3DEN-D2-NN-NN is an operator panel produced by Rexroth Indramat. The display terminal features some of the best designs used in industrial technologies. It is tough and can operate optimally in rough industrial environments. The terminal contains a Contexts and Dependency Injection (CDI) Interface through which the display terminal can be connected to a personal computer. The VDP40.3DEN-D2-NN-NN display terminal is quite perfect for industrial production activities; it consists of a touchscreen and a sophisticated operating system that helps convey commands inputted by the operator to the appropriate part of the industrial machine.

The VDP40.3DEN-D2-NN-NN operator panel contains a diagnostic light-emitting diode that flashes different light colors,  each of which illustrates the current temperature, voltage, UPS, and hard disk status of the industrial system. The display terminal also consists of a thin film transistor type of flat panel display technology with a resolution of 1024×768 and a high response time. The terminal as a whole is manufactured according to the IP20 protection category, but the screen is specifically produced according to the IP65 protection category, which means that it can prevent the penetration of solid materials and low-pressure water spray. The screen is, however, not resistant to intentional penetration with solid material. 

The minimum current used by the VDP40.3DEN-D2-NN-NN operator panel is 19Volts DC, while the maximum current is 30 volts DC. For normal operation, the ideal continuous current with which the terminal should be operated is about 4 Amperes.
