The VDP40.3DEN-D2-NN-NN is a touch-operated human-machine interface manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VDP IndraControl Panels series. It combines a display module, low-voltage electronics, and a sealed aluminum bezel to give machine operators direct access to visualization screens, alarm acknowledgments, and parameter entry in automated cells. By routing all operator interaction through a single front surface, the panel simplifies wiring and reduces the number of discrete pushbuttons normally mounted on a control cabinet. The touch interface also helps keep the operator area uncluttered during routine machine use.

The unit features a TFT screen that measures 38.1 cm (15") diagonally and renders process graphics at a resolution of 1024 x 768 with 16 million colors for clear status indication. A resistive layer supports finger or stylus input, and the glass front is rated IP65, allowing washdown of the control station while the electronics remain energized. The panel draws 35 W from a regulated 24 V DC supply and accepts input voltages from 19 V DC to 30 V DC to tolerate common supply variation in plant environments. Inside the cabinet, the housing has IP20 protection for low-voltage installation areas. The display and touch layout support direct interaction without requiring a separate keyboard or pointing device.

Four rear expansion ports provide 4 additional USB connections that complement the front service port, so storage media or peripherals can be attached without opening the cabinet. The housing withstands mechanical shocks up to 15 g and continuous vibration levels of 1 g, which supports use on machinery with regular motion or intermittent impact.
