The VR2107.01-00-01-N2-NNN-AA operator terminal is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VDP IndraControl Panels series. As a compact human-machine interface, it links production personnel with drive, I/O, and PLC nodes, allowing parameter entry and process visualization directly at the machine frame. The panel integrates computing, display, and touch-sensing functions so that motion sequences, alarms, and recipe data can be managed without external PCs. This integrated design supports distributed control architectures in industrial automation while reducing the amount of separate equipment required near the machine.
An embedded ARM Cortex-A8 processor supplies local computing resources, and its clock speed reaches 800 MHz for responsive screen refreshes and event handling. Working data, buffers, and application variables reside in 512 MB of DDR memory, while nonvolatile configuration files are stored in 256 MB of flash memory. The terminal has two USB 2.0 ports on the rear for service drives, barcode readers, or keyboards, allowing peripheral connections without opening the cabinet. Single-touch sensing is supported across the projected-capacitive overlay, enabling direct menu navigation and on-screen data entry. The onboard electronics allow the unit to start its embedded operating system, run visualization applications, process operator input, and exchange data with upstream networks through compatible communication adapters.
The TFT panel measures 7 inches diagonally and renders graphics at a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, providing space for process values, controls, alarm messages, and equipment status indicators.
