Product Description:
The VDP80.1FKN-C1-NN-EN is an operator interface panel produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VDP IndraControl Panels series. Intended for cabinet-door mounting, the unit combines push-buttons, labeling areas, and encoder connectivity so that operators can issue commands and monitor machine states locally. In an automation cell, it acts as the human-machine gateway for an IndraDrive or PLC, routing discrete signals from keys, handwheels, and safety circuits directly to the controller without separate terminal blocks. This arrangement keeps essential operator commands close to the machine and supports straightforward local control.
It runs from a 24 V DC supply and draws a nominal panel current of 2 A, while the internal protection limits the total load on the sourcing terminals to 1 A. Discrete field equipment can be wired to the on-board I/O bus, which accepts 24 bits of digital input status and drives 16 bits of digital output. Each sourcing channel is rated for 100 mA, enabling direct actuation of contactors or pilot lamps without external relays. The panel also reserves four emergency-stop pins, four additional handwheel pins, and four changeable labeling strips so the safety chain, manual jog, and legend areas are predefined. A 5 V auxiliary feed powers external handwheel encoders, and four preassigned keys provide immediate access to frequently used machine functions. This combination allows one panel to handle both signal monitoring and local command entry.
Operator customization is extended through 32 user-changeable keys that accept embossed caps, while the hardwired connector offers 25 pins for attaching a manual handwheel without internal rewiring. Paper identifiers can be inserted in accordance with the DIN A4 label strip format, allowing legends to be updated when machine functions change. The panel face can therefore be adapted to different operating layouts while keeping handwheel access and key labeling clear and organized.
