The VDP60.1BLN-G4-PS-NN operator panel is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VDP IndraControl Panels series. Serving as an HMI in industrial automation, it lets operators issue commands and monitor process data through a dedicated key matrix and color display. The unit combines a sealed front bezel with rear electronics for compact panel-mount deployment. Its hard-key interface supports direct machine interaction without relying on touch-based control.

The panel presents information on a 304.8 mm (12") diagonal screen that uses TFT technology. Its native resolution of 800 × 600 pixels works with common SCADA graphics, while a palette of 256,000 colors supports detailed status visualization. The front bezel is rated at IP65, allowing use on enclosures exposed to dust or water jets. Mounting dimensions are 483 mm wide by 266 mm high, fitting standard 19-inch cabinet cutouts. Sixteen machine keys sit beside an alphanumeric keypad, so operators can trigger functions without navigating on-screen menus. Key-based operation is the only input method, which is useful when gloves are worn. A 25-pin D-Sub, identified as the G4 connector, routes signals to the controller.

The display backlight is specified for 40,000 h of service before brightness falls to half, extending operating life in continuous-duty lines. Internal electronics draw power from a regulated 24 V DC supply and never exceed 2 A, so the panel can share low-voltage rails with sensors and relays. Installation depth is limited to 64.5 mm, which helps preserve space for wiring and airflow behind the cabinet door. The light gray front in RAL 7035 blends with standard enclosures, while the steel chassis adds stiffness. Because the keypad uses sealed membrane switches, the panel maintains its ingress protection after repeated actuations.
