The VDP40.3DIN-D2-NN-CG is a human-machine interface produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VDP IndraControl Panels series. This operator panel combines a flat display with integrated electronics so machine builders can embed visualization and command entry directly on the machine front panel. By delivering process graphics, alarm messages, and touch or key input at the point of operation, the unit reduces wiring distances to controllers and supports responsive local operation in automated production cells. Its integrated format also keeps the operator interface close to the process, so status information and control prompts remain easy to view during routine use.

The unit’s 38.1 cm (15 in.) TFT screen renders graphics at a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. With 16 million colors, onscreen alarms, trends, and schematics appear with clear gradations. The front bezel has an IP65 rating, so the viewing surface resists dust and low-pressure water jets when mounted in a panel cutout. Internally, the electronics draw only 35 W, enabling passive cooling and low panel heat rise, while the nominal 24 V DC supply lets the display share the same control-system power bus. Environmental and mechanical limits establish safe locations for the panel. It operates from +5 °C up to +45 °C, helping keep liquid crystal response stable in moderate plant climates. The rear housing has an IP20 rating, which means the electronics are finger-safe but not sealed and should be installed inside a cabinet or support arm enclosure. Shock resistance of 15 g and vibration endurance of 1 g allow attachment on moving axes without display dropout. Because the assembly uses a lightweight aluminum frame, total mass is 5.8 kg, so hinges or support arms must accommodate that load when the operator repositions the screen.
