By providing good diagnostics and visualization, Bosch Rexroth’s VDP 40 series of operator terminals have revolutionized how technical industrial processes are controlled, operated, and monitored. The VDP 40 series of human machine interface are designed to handle tough applications on the industrial adding to the peace of mind of the machine operator. To enhance monitoring, Bosch VDP operator terminals feature status LEDs to monitor voltage, temperature, among other conditions. Interfacing Rexroth VDP terminals with external devices is enhanced through on-board USB and serial interfaces. With a CSA/CE/UL certification, these operator terminals are designed to be used anywhere in the world.
The Bosch Rexroth VDP40.3DFN-D1-NN-CG is an operator terminal in the VDP series. With a weight of 5.8 kilograms, the terminal is light enough to be mounted on any surface on the industrial floor including on a mounting arm. The VDP40.3DFN-D1-NN-CG is designed to be powered from a DC power source supplying a maximum of 30 Volts DC and a minimum of 19 Volts DC or an average of 24 Volts DC. The terminal’s IP 65 ingress protection on its front panel allows the front panel to withstand high levels of dust and low pressure jets of water.
The VDP40.3DFN-D1-NN-CG supports the VAC01.1S-YG4-EXTN Y-repeater which facilitates a connection between two VDP displays to a control cabinet. Note that through cascading, multiple VDPs can be connected to a control cabinet PC. The VDP40.3DFN-D1-NN-CG is ideal for use with packaging and food processing machines, machine tools, wood processing machines, printing machines, assembly systems, paper converting machines, handling system, among others. For optimum performance, the operator terminal should not be subjected to temperatures exceeding 45 degrees Celsius or falling below 5 degrees Celsius.
