The VDP40.3DEN-D1-NN-NN operator panel is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VDP IndraControl Panels series. As a human-machine interface, the unit combines a display and integrated electronics so machine operators can monitor machine status and enter commands through the front touch surface. It is intended for cabinet mounting in production lines, where compact visualization hardware simplifies control architecture and connects directly to IndraControl controllers through standard fieldbus links. The integrated layout also reduces the need for separate display hardware inside the enclosure.

The panel uses a 38.1 cm (15") TFT screen that provides color graphics at 1024 x 768 pixels, giving enough pixel density for detailed status and diagnostic pages. The touch layer uses resistive sensing, so the panel can be operated while gloves are worn. A sealed aluminum bezel with IP65 front protection helps stop dust and low-pressure water jets when the panel is flush mounted in an enclosure, while the rear side follows IP20 for clean control cabinets. Internal electronics draw only 35 W from a nominal 24 V DC supply, which reduces loading on auxiliary power supplies and helps limit heat buildup inside the cabinet.

Measuring 370 mm in height, 407 mm in width, and only 46 mm in depth, the housing fits shallow control door cutouts and leaves room for wiring behind the display. The assembly weighs 5.8 kg, which helps keep mounting loads reasonable for cabinet doors and support hardware. For factory use, the panel withstands shocks up to 15 g and continuous vibration levels of 1 g without functional errors. Continuous operation is permitted from +5 °C to +45 °C, covering most indoor machine spaces that are neither refrigerated nor exposed to intense radiant heat.
