The VDP40.3BIN-D1-NN-MX is an operator panel produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VDP IndraControl Panels series. It provides machine-level visualization and command entry by combining a color display with an integrated membrane keyboard. Through a dedicated CDI link and a low-voltage DC bus, the panel places human-machine interaction directly at automated cells, eliminating the need for an external industrial PC and simplifying setup as well as routine adjustments.

Visual data appear on a TFT screen with a diagonal of 38.1 cm (15"). The native resolution of 1024 × 768 supports detailed mimic diagrams, and up to 16 million colors help operators distinguish status changes and alarms more easily. The unit accepts a SELV feed of 24 V DC and draws only 35 W, which helps keep enclosure temperatures within normal operating limits. Keyboard operation uses sixteen function keys, sixteen machine keys, and fourteen additional keys that can be assigned to process actions. The aluminum front achieves IP65 protection, so the screen and keys resist dust and splashed fluids, while the rear section maintains an overall IP20 classification for cabinet-mounted electronics. For mechanical stress, the housing withstands shocks up to 15 g and continuous vibration of 1 g along the mounting axes, making it suitable for equipment that produces regular dynamic loads. With a mass of only 5.8 kg, the panel can be mounted on swing arms or cabinet doors without placing excessive load on the support structure.
