The VDP40.2ALN-G5-NN-NN operator panel belongs to the VDP IndraControl Panels series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It functions as a touch-enabled human-machine interface that links the machine controller to the user, supplying real-time process views and direct setpoint entry. Designed for front-panel mounting in cabinets or machine doors, it presents status data, alarms, and navigation icons on a single flat surface. The touchscreen layout supports recipe selection, alarm acknowledgment, and operating-mode changes from one central display area.

The panel operates from a 24 V DC source and can draw up to 2 A at full load, so wiring stays in the SELV range. Combined electronics and backlight demand no more than 36 W, which helps limit heat inside the enclosure. A 381 mm (15 in.) TFT provides crisp images at 1024 x 768 pixels, giving adequate space for drive diagnostics, machine graphics, and status pages. Resistive touch input lets users press on-screen buttons while wearing gloves, and the absence of a foil keyboard reduces seams that can trap debris.
