The VDP21.3CNN-D1-NN-NN is an operator panel produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VDP IndraControl Panels series. This HMI combines a widescreen display, a multitouch sensor, and CDI-based interface electronics to serve as a local visualization and command station for servo drives, CNC controllers, and PLC-driven equipment. Intended for front-door or arm mounting, the panel delivers responsive user interaction and clear process feedback in assembly lines, packaging machines, and other automated installations. It places machine status, commands, and visual process data at the point of use so operators can respond quickly during normal operation.
The panel uses a TFT display that provides fast pixel response and wide viewing angles for motion sequences and trend curves. Its diagonal size is 54.6 cm (21.5"), giving operators a large workspace for alarm lists, soft keys, and detailed graphics. A resolution of 1920 x 1080 supports full-HD layouts, so standard SCADA objects are shown without scaling. Color depth reaches 16.7 million colors, allowing status indicators to appear smoothly without visible banding in gradients or process images. The capacitive sensor supports multitouch operation, enabling two-finger zoom or gesture-based machine navigation while still recognizing gloved input when configured with the correct threshold.
The front is sealed to IP65 by a thermally tempered glass surface, while the rear section has an IP20 rating for cabinet-protected wiring. Typical energy draw is 36 W, and the electronics accept a regulated 24 V DC supply from the system power bus. Two USB downstream connectors each supply 500 mA for barcode scanners or memory sticks, and the CDI link carries graphics and touch data to the control cabinet through a single cable. This cable arrangement reduces separate wiring runs, and the housing remains 56 mm deep, 552 mm wide, and 348 mm high even when accessories are attached.
