The VDP16.3BRN-D1-NN-NN is an operator panel from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the VDP IndraControl Panels series. As a human-machine interface, the unit presents machine status, accepts operator commands, and links the production cell to its automation controller. Its industrial design places the display, membrane keys, and communication ports on the front plate so that operators can supervise motion sequences or adjust process setpoints without opening the cabinet. This layout keeps routine interaction at the machine front and supports straightforward use during normal operation.
Central to this interface is a 30.5 cm (12") active area built on an 800 x 600 pixel grid. The screen renders graphics with 256,000 colors, allowing trend curves, alarm icons, and parameter pages to appear with clear separation. Because the panel uses a TFT module, response time and contrast remain stable when ambient lighting changes on the factory floor. Data exchange with the controller travels through a 1 x CDI link, which combines video, touch, and service signals on one cable. The housing and power requirements support direct mounting on a swing arm.
