The VCP02.1BRN-PB-NN-PW model is designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The VCP01 small operator terminal can be used to control the functions of the machines. The front panel and housing of the model are manufactured by using Aluminum and steel sheets. The front panel is covered with polyester foil and the rear side of the model is insulated by polyethylene foam. The model operates at the 24 VDC supply voltage along with the maximum 10% ripples. In case of a wrong polarity, the device will not operate due to its reverse polarity protection. The front panel consists of a keyboard and a display unit. The keyboard consists of edit keys, navigation keys, special keys, and functional keys. The model is supplied with a PROFIBUS interface for providing communication between the operator terminal and other input/output devices. The front panel provides resistance against liquids and dust particles whereas the housing of the model is protected by IP20 protection standard.
