The VCP25.2DVN-003-PB-NN-PW operator terminal is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VCP IndraControl Terminals series. As a panel-mounted HMI, it links machine controllers and operators, presenting process data, alarm states, and configuration menus in automated cells. The unit combines a compact housing with a color display and touch input so that system builders can place visualization and command functions directly on enclosures and cabinets on the plant floor. The touch interface lets users move between status pages and command screens without external keys.

At the core of the terminal is a RISC ARM9 200 MHz processor that executes visualization projects stored in 3 MB of application memory and retained in a separate 16 MB flash device for startup after power cycling. The operator views screens on a 14.5 cm (5.7 in) STN color panel that renders 128 colors and supports a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. Touch input eliminates the need for mechanical keys, and two USB host connectors allow recipes or logs to be transferred with standard flash drives. One Ethernet TCP/IP port provides programming access and network services, while a PROFIBUS DP-Slave channel links the terminal to PLCs on legacy fieldbus segments.

Mechanically, the panel fits into control doors without deep recesses. Its enclosure measures 66 mm from the rear face to the bezel, spans 203 mm in width, and rises 147 mm in height. The aluminum front carries an ingress rating of IP65, allowing installation in areas exposed to dust or directed water jets when the gasket is correctly seated. The shallow body helps the unit fit panel cutouts where rear clearance is limited. All circuitry is powered from a stabilized 24 V DC supply, keeping wiring consistent with standard industrial control voltages and avoiding the need for internal converters.
