The VCP20.1BUN-768PB-NN-PW is a high quality operator terminal that can initiate specific predefined functions in machines. The small operator terminal has compact dimensions and comes with a dedicated operating system that can be reloaded into the device via associated programming software. This model has a 131 mm x 72 mm (H x W) display area and the LCD module is backlit with a CCFT backlight. It is possible to control the brightness and contrast settings and the contrast settings are temperature compensated. Under normal display mode, a 6 x 8 pixels character matrix is available that can increase to 12 x 16 pixels through the font zoom option. The operating terminal has a 16 line display and the LCD has a lifetime of 50,000 hours. This model comes with a self-resetting semiconductor fuse. Integrated protection is also provided against polarity reversal.
The VCP20.1BUN-768PB-NN-PW works on a 24 V DC supply voltage and has a maximum 10% residual ripple. The minimum and maximum voltage requirements are 19.2 V and 30.2 V respectively. A 90ᵒ reading angle is provided with this device. The keyboard features a short stroke with tactile feedback. There are 34 keys and the keyboard has 1 million approx. The outer enclosure of this operator terminal has protection against corrosion by certain chemicals because of a polyester foil coating. The housing consists of galvanized steel sheet that increases its mechanical strength. A circumferential seal is also provided with the system. It is therefore possible to use this operator terminal in different ambient conditions. The device comes with 128 KB RAM and 768 KB application memory. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
