The VCP05.2DSN-003-PB-NN-PW is a compact operator terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VCP IndraControl Terminals series. It functions as a human-machine interface that lets plant personnel visualize status data and send commands to PLC-controlled equipment on the factory floor. By combining the display, processor, and communication access in one sealed unit, it supports local machine control where panel space is limited and front-panel protection is important. This layout makes the terminal suitable for equipment that needs direct status viewing and local input at the machine.

Processing is handled by a RISC ARM9 CPU clocked at 200 MHz, giving the terminal enough throughput for screen updates and communication tasks without an external computer. Program storage resides in a 16 MByte flash module, while runtime variables are buffered in 32 MByte of SDRAM to support larger visualization projects. An additional 3 MByte of application memory stores compiled control logic and recipe data separately from the main operating functions. The integrated Ethernet port supports 10/100 Base-T communication, allowing the terminal to connect to standard automation networks with controllers and drives. Internal electronics operate from a single 24 V DC supply, which simplifies panel wiring where that control voltage is already available; typical power consumption is 6 W, so the terminal adds only a modest heat load to the enclosure.
