The VCP05.2DSN-003-NN-NN-PW is an operator terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VCP IndraControl Terminals series. Designed for machine fronts and control stations, this compact panel provides a direct interface between the automation controller and the user at the machine. By combining a monochrome LCD with a membrane keypad, it supports menu navigation, parameter entry, and status monitoring during routine operation. Its compact format suits equipment where panel space is limited but local access to alarms, settings, and machine status is still required.
Processing tasks are handled by a 200 MHz controller built on the RISC ARM9 core, which gives the terminal quick screen response and enough capacity for protocol conversion and basic local data handling. Volatile program data resides in 32 MByte of SDRAM, while recipe files and other internal data are stored in a 16 MByte flash device. Machine feedback appears on an FSTN LCD with a resolution of 160 × 80 pixels, giving clear presentation of text-based menus and process values within the compact display area. Thirty membrane keys provide direct input for commands and navigation, and two USB host ports accept memory sticks or barcode readers. The molded front bezel is sealed to IP65, helping protect the display and keys from dust and low-pressure water exposure at the machine. A width of 120 mm and a height of 168 mm help it fit standard enclosure cutouts.
The LED backlight is rated for 50,000 h, supporting long service intervals in multi-shift operation. The long-life backlight also helps preserve readability during extended daily use in enclosed machine panels. Electrical demand remains low because the panel draws only 6 W, which helps limit heat generation inside sealed enclosures. Operation is supported on 24 V DC, so the terminal can share the same low-voltage supply commonly used by sensors, indicators, and control hardware.
