The IndraControl VCP 02 series by Bosch Rexroth is a utilitarian project from their portfolio. The entirety of their major projects comprise of an HMI Display, without which no human user can interact with them. The VCP02.2DRN-003-PB-NN-PW is a top of the line HMI Display from this series. The 3” FSTN display has a resolution of 160x80. It is a text-oriented screen with 5-tone grayscale color range. The 200 MHz RICS ARM9 processor, 16 MB flash memory, and 3 MB user memory it comes with add a lot of appeal to it. It has one TCP/IP Ethernet port and 2 USB-Host slots for network connectivity. For communications, a PROFIBUS DP-Slave option is also part of the package. It has 4 function keys and 7 system keys, giving users a lot of flexibility in setting up the controls for their machine. For protection against environmental conditions, its front panel is compliant with the IP65 protection degree and rear meets the IP20 protection criteria. It can be operated in any temperature in the range of 5oC-45oC.
