The VCP02.1BRN-RS-NN-PW model is a machine operator terminal that helps in initiating the program-specific functions in the machines. It can also be used to control and operate the machines or installations. The VCP01 small operator terminal comes with a special operating system and it can be programmed by using the “VI Composer” software. Before commissioning, the device should be programmed according to the required functions and it can be installed into any desired mounting position by using the hexagon nuts. The total weight of the device is approximately 400 g. The VCP01 small operator terminal consists of a front panel and housing. The varnished aluminum is used to manufacture the front panel of the device and it is protected by a chemical resistive polyester foil whereas galvanized steel sheet is used to produce the main housing of the device. The rear part of the device is sealed with the help of polyethylene form. The model provides maintenance-free operation and the device is completely protected against corrosion.
The model VCP02.1BRN-RS-NN-PW is equipped with a serial (RS232/485, TTY 20 mA) interface and it can be connected as an active or passive current loop. The RS232/485 interfaces provide point-to-point or multiple-point connections for the input/output devices. The front panel consists of a keyboard that includes 11 keys for manual programming and an LCD display with LED backlight. The service life of the LCD is approximately 100,000 operating hours. The model operates on the dc-link connection of 24 VDC and it is protected with a semiconductor fuse. The protection class of the front panel is IP65 whereas the rear side of the device is protected against the IP20 protection category. The model can operate, without a reduction in rated data, between the temperature range of 0 to +50 degree Celsius. The model is equipped with a Z84 CPU along with 256 KB flash memory. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
