Bosch Rexroth Indramat’s VCP01.2BWA-TS-NN-FW is a compact human-machine interface belonging to the VCP IndraControl Terminals series. It is intended for front-panel integration on machinery where quick access to drive parameters and alarm messages is needed. By linking directly to IndraDrive controllers, the terminal simplifies setup, routine adjustments, and local diagnostics in automated production lines. Its graphics display and keypad form a dedicated operator station for decentralized drive packages. This arrangement keeps essential controls close to the machine process and allows status information to be read without opening the cabinet door.

The terminal accepts a supply of 24 V DC, so it can share the standard control voltage already present inside most cabinets. A monochrome graphics display with a resolution of 128 x 64 pixels renders text and simple icons for menus and status pages. The screen layout is suited to short status messages, navigation prompts, and basic operating selections. Application code and variable data are stored in a nonvolatile memory bank of 256 kB for applications and 100 kB for variables, providing space for menu structures and machine recipes. The front panel provides 8 tactile keys with consistent travel for gloved operation, while a serial TTL port handles point-to-point communication with the drive or a clip-on expansion module.

The front foil achieves IP65 on the front and IP20 on the rear, sealing the keypad against dust and water jets while leaving the rear electronics ventilated inside the cabinet. The shallow housing helps when panel space is limited, and installation is simplified by an overall depth of 80 mm and a square panel cutout measuring 66 x 66 mm. The unit can be hot-plugged without cycling power, and it interfaces directly with the compatible control section CSB01.1N-FC. This allows compatible control screens to appear immediately after connection.
