The VAU02.1S-024-024-072-NN is an uninterruptible power supply produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VAU Uninterruptible Power Supplies series. This device buffers the 24 V control circuit used by motion controllers and operator terminals so automated lines can finish a movement or store process data when the primary supply is interrupted. It is installed in low-voltage cabinets next to IndraControl hardware to preserve logical states and prevent uncontrolled shutdowns during brownouts or complete power loss. This backup function is useful where controller memory, communication states, and orderly stop sequences must be maintained long enough for the machine to react safely to a supply failure.

The supply accepts a DC 24 V input from a rectifier or battery module and regenerates a matching DC 24 V output for the protected load. Up to 72 W of continuous power is available, allowing several PLC racks or sensor clusters to ride through brief outages without a reset.
