Product Description:
The TVR3.1-W015-03/S100 is a regulated power supply module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the TVR Power Supply Modules series. In multi-axis automation systems, it converts three-phase mains energy into a stable DC bus and auxiliary control rails required by servo drives. This arrangement lets multiple connected inverters draw from the same centralized supply instead of relying on separate power sources. For regenerative braking cycles, the supply can return 10 kW to the mains, reducing the need for external dump resistors in many installations.
The module establishes a DC link potential of 320 VDC, and it can sustain a DC-bus feed of 15 kW while delivering up to 12 kW of mechanical output through connected inverters. For short acceleration peaks, the bus can rise to 45 kW, and an internal bleeder absorbs excess energy during braking events. Auxiliary rails supply 11 A at +24 V and 2.0 A on the ±15 V line for control electronics, so interface boards and signal-processing circuits receive regulated low-voltage power. The regulated low-voltage outputs also keep monitoring and command circuits active during normal drive operation. Continuous input draw is limited to 500 VA, internal conversion losses are held to 350 W, and the thermal design supports ambient operation up to 55 °C without derating.
Full power capability is retained up to 1000 m elevation, making the unit suitable for general-purpose machine rooms. The enclosure carries an IP10 rating, so it must be installed inside a protected electrical cabinet while still allowing airflow across its heat sinks. This cabinet installation style suits control panels where line conversion and drive modules are grouped in one enclosure. The shipping weight is 31 kg, so the mounting surface should provide secure support for the installed module. Power loss is routed into the cabinet air path, so enclosure ventilation must carry heat away from the module.
