Product Description:
The TVR03.1-W015-03/S100 is a power supply module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the TVR Power Supply Modules series. It forms the centralized energy source for modular drive packs, converting three-phase mains power into a stabilized DC bus and multiple low-voltage rails. By providing regulated power and handling returned braking energy, the module enables coordinated motion, controlled deceleration, and reliable operation of servo axes in automated manufacturing equipment.
Its ±15 V auxiliary outputs each deliver 2.0 A, while the logic rail provides 11 A at 24 V for drive electronics and field sensors. The DC link is regulated at 320 V, forming the electrical backbone for connected inverter modules. Under continuous motoring demand the supply can furnish 15 kW, and during braking it returns 10 kW to the mains, limiting heat in the cabinet. The electronic control section draws 500 VA, and inherent heat generation scales at 20 W per kilowatt of transferred power with a minimum internal loss of 50 W. An IP 10 enclosure rating requires mounting inside a closed electrical cabinet, and full output capability is maintained up to 45 °C ambient.
For dynamic duty cycles the module supports a mechanical drive load of 12 kW and can absorb 60 kWs of regenerated energy in its capacitor bank before diverting excess to the bleeder stage, where up to 40 kW of instantaneous dissipation is available. Overall conversion losses are limited to 350 W, helping to control enclosure temperature. The design remains rated for proper function at elevations to 1 000 m without output derating, and installation crews must account for the unit’s 31 kg mass during panel integration. These characteristics align the supply with medium-size multi-axis machines that demand rapid energy exchange without external braking resistors.
