The TVM 2.4-050-220/300-W1/200/380 power supply module is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as a member of the TVM Power Supply Modules series. It converts an AC mains feed into a regulated DC bus for multiple drive controllers, supplies low-voltage electronics, and absorbs regenerative energy returned by braking servo motors. The unit is version 2 with configuration 4, which places it in a medium-power cabinet role and uses an integrated blower for cooling. It is suited for systems that operate several connected axes from a common power source.
The module accepts a supply of AC 220 V at 50–60 Hz, and the incoming voltage may vary by +15% and -10% without derating. Internally, a three-phase rectifier supports 7.5 kW of continuous DC bus power, while short-duration demand can rise to 60 kW. The rated DC bus current delivered to the drives is 25 A, and the design also includes a 50 A current margin for fault clearing or added axis demand. During normal loading, the assembly loses 130 W as heat, and the airflow helps remove that thermal load from the cabinet.
