The TVM 2.1-050-220/300-115 belongs to the TVM Power Supply Modules series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It functions as the regulated power backbone for drive controllers, converting incoming AC power into a DC bus and several low-voltage rails so motion axes receive consistent energy during industrial automation tasks. The module also provides auxiliary power for control and feedback circuits, allowing multiple connected components to operate from one centralized supply source. This arrangement supports stable operation during normal axis movement and during short changes in load demand.
This unit accepts a 50–60 Hz supply at AC 220 V, and the input can deviate by +15 %/-10 % without loss of regulation. Internally, it maintains a nominal bus voltage of DC 300 V. Under steady load, the module delivers a continuous output of 25 A, while short-term demand can be met with a 150 A surge for 300 ms to support rapid acceleration. A 24 V logic rail supplies 8 A, and the ±15 V monitor rails provide 0.9 A on the positive side and 1.0 A on the negative side for encoder and control electronics.
