TVM2.2-50-220/300-W1-220/380 is a Bosch Rexroth power supply module. It is used to supply DC power to Bosch drive units. The input side of the module is compatible with three-phase AC mains operating at 220 Volts AC. When connecting the module to AC mains with a different voltage, an autotransformer can be used for voltage adaptation. Bosch supplies autotransformers in foot mount and wall mount configurations. The maximum power rating of the autotransformers is 20 kVA. TVM modules support direct connection to the AC mains. However there is a risk of electric shock and equipment damage if the AC mains is ungrounded. To prevent electric shock and equipment damage, Bosch recommends using an isolation transformer when connecting TVM modules to AC mains that are ungrounded. Bosch supplies isolation transformers in foot mount and wall mount configurations. The maximum power rating of the isolation transformers is 10 kVA. DC output of the TVM2.2-50-220/300-W1-220/380 module is 300 Volts AC. The peak DC output power is 60 kilowatts and the continuous output is 7.5 kilowatts. Control electronics on the module require AC input at 220 Volts AC or 380 Volts AC. This input voltage is single-phase. TVM modules can only deliver rated output when the input voltage matches the input voltage rating, the ambient temperature is between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius, and the site altitude is between 0 and 1000 meters. Derated operation is possible but not recommended. The IP10 rated power module hosing does not provide complete protection against dust and moisture ingress. Therefore, Bosch recommends module installation inside a cabinet. Adequate spacing is necessary for smooth airflow. Failure to provide adequate spacing can lead to unsafe ambient temperatures.
