The TVM2.2-50-220/300-W1-220/380 is a regulated DC power supply module from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the TVM Power Supply Modules series. It converts three-phase AC mains into a stabilized DC link and dissipates regenerative energy through an internal bleeder network. By acting as the common power backbone for Indramat servo amplifiers, the unit supports motion control tasks in production lines, packaging machines, and CNC equipment. This arrangement allows multiple connected drives to share one supply source rather than rely on separate power stages for each axis.

Operating from a nominal input of 220 V AC, the module generates a DC bus of 300 V DC. The incoming line can deliver up to 15 kW of mains power, while internal components are selected for a peak current of 150 A during acceleration events. Surplus energy is routed to the braking resistor, where the bleeder handles 450 W continuously and tolerates bursts of 10 kW. This allows braking energy from connected axes to be absorbed without causing an excessive rise in DC-link voltage. A storage capacity of 14 kWs in the capacitor bank smooths load transients and buffers short mains dips. That stored energy helps the supply remain stable when several connected drives change demand in quick succession. Thermal dissipation does not exceed 580 W, and 30 W is used by the onboard fan for forced-air ventilation. Protection on the fan circuit is provided by a 0.315 A, 250 V fuse, while the power section is protected by a 25 A, 380 V semiconductor fuse.

The DC bus can continuously source up to 50 A, enabling simultaneous operation of several drive controllers. An auxiliary 24 V rail is available at 8 A, and the positive and negative reference rails support analog circuitry used by connected control electronics. With an installed mass of 15 kg, the module fits standard Indramat cabinet layouts without exceeding common support-bracket limits. The housing also requires inlet clearance for airflow so the ventilation path can maintain rated operating temperature during continuous duty.
