TVM1.2-50-220/300-W0-220/380V is a Bosch Rexroth TVM series power supply module. It is designed to provide DC output to the connected drive units. Input voltage requirement of the module is 220 Volts AC. A rectifier on the module converts AC input to DC output. The main input should be three-phase at 50 to 60 Hertz. If the AC supply voltage is different from 220 Volts AC, an autotransformer can be used to the adapt the mains AC supply. Bosch supplies autotransformers with maximum 20 kVA power ratings. These are available in foot mount and wall mount versions. The power supply module can be directly connected to AC mains that are grounded. If the TVM1.2-50-220/300-W0-220/380V must be connected to an ungrounded mains, an isolation transformer must be used. Isolation transformers are used to provide isolation between their input and output sides. It protects the output device against electric shock and to suppress electrical noise. Bosch supplies isolation transformers with maximum 10 kVA power ratings. These are available in foot mount and wall mount versions. Control electronics on the TVM1.2-50-220/300-W0-220/380V require single-phase AC input at 220 or 380 Volts. DC output of the module is 300 Volts DC. The permitted ambient temperature with rated output is 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. The maximum permitted ambient temperature with derated output is 55 degrees Celsius.
