Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the TVM1.2-050-220/300-W1-115 for its TVM Power Supply Modules series. The device converts incoming three-phase line power into a regulated DC bus that services multiple Indramat servo drives in a common control cabinet. It combines line rectification, dynamic braking, and a 24 V auxiliary rail so individual axes do not need separate power converters. In multi-axis systems, this centralized supply lets several servo amplifiers share the same DC source and braking path inside the enclosure. That arrangement supports coordinated motion platforms where several drives draw from one supply during acceleration and return energy during deceleration.
On the input side, the module accepts a nominal supply of 220 V AC on a 3-phase line, which is internally rectified and smoothed into a bus voltage of 300 V DC for the connected inverters. A bleeder resistor set dissipates 450 W continuously and tolerates surges up to 10 kW, which helps prevent overvoltage on the DC link when servo axes brake rapidly. During short events, the supply can deliver a peak current of 150 A for 300 ms, supporting acceleration or simultaneous axis demand. Additional outputs include a 4 A logic rail protected by a 24 VDC / 10 A fuse, and a cooling fan circuit protected by a 0.630 A / 250 V fuse. Thermal losses under rated load reach 550 W, so forced airflow is required.
The main bridge is secured with a 25 A / 380 V power-section fuse, while the internal design current is 50 A and the rated power is 15 kW. An energy absorber can take 14 kWs per event without overstressing the bleeder assembly. The enclosure meets IP10, so only basic finger protection is provided and cabinet mounting is required. Reliable operation is specified up to 55 °C ambient, after which derating or additional cooling must be applied.
