Product Description:
The TVM02.4-050-220/300-W1 is a power supply module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the TVM Power Supply Modules series. Installed inside automation cabinets, it converts incoming mains power into a stabilized DC bus that feeds multiple servo drives. It also generates auxiliary ±15 V and 24 V logic rails for control electronics, allowing several coordinated axes to share one central power source. This arrangement reduces the need for separate supply sections on each axis and keeps the cabinet power layout more centralized.
On the input side, the module accepts a single-phase mains supply of AC 220 V at 50 to 60 Hz, with an allowable window of +15/-10 % to accommodate typical plant variations. It is rated for a type current of 50 A and delivers a continuous bus output of 25 A at a nominal DC 300 V. The supply can furnish 7.5 kW continuously and up to 60 kW for short acceleration peaks, while a 0.45 kW bleeder safely dissipates regenerated energy. Separate rails provide -15 V / 1.0 A, +15 V / 1.3 A, and +24 V / 8 A for control circuits. A built-in blower moves cabinet air across the heat sinks, limiting internal power loss to 130 W and supporting stable operation at the stated ratings.
In configuration 4 of series 2, the module is 390 mm tall and 105 mm wide, which helps conserve panel space beside drive amplifiers. The assembly weighs 15 kg, offers IP10 protection, and operates without derating at installation altitudes up to 1000 m. A bus voltage tolerance of ±15% helps connected axes ride through normal supply variation, while an overall consumption of 550 VA helps with upstream circuit sizing. During braking, the capacitors can absorb up to 14 kWs of returned energy before the bleeder activates, which helps keep the DC bus stable during deceleration events. The narrow housing also leaves room for adjacent amplifier modules and shared bus connections in dense cabinet layouts.
