The TVM 2.4-050-220/300-W1/115/220 is a power supply module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TVM Power Supply Modules series. It accepts three-phase mains and delivers a regulated DC link together with auxiliary low-voltage rails, allowing servo drives and control electronics to share one energy source inside an automation cabinet. The module also dissipates regenerated energy and helps keep bus voltage within safe limits during deceleration events. Those auxiliary outputs support control circuitry and related devices that require stable low-voltage power alongside the main DC bus.

Designed for 3 × 220 VAC ±15 % at 50/60 Hz, the module draws a maximum line current of 50 A and dedicates 550 VA to its internal control electronics. The DC link operates at a nominal 300 V DC and can supply 7.5 kW continuously while absorbing up to 60 kW for 0.3 s during dynamic braking. Mechanical loads connected through the drive system may require a steady 4.1 kW, while excess kinetic energy is handled by a 0.45 kW continuous bleeder that can reach 10 kW for short peaks. Regenerative flow back to the mains is limited to 0.45 kW, and the circuitry can accept 14 kWs of accumulated energy before the protective cutout trips. Low-voltage outputs include a +24 V rail rated at 8 A and protected by a 10 A fuse, plus ±15 V rails that deliver 1.3 A and 1.0 A respectively. Power loss with the bleeder idle is limited to 130 W, which helps reduce added heat inside the cabinet.

A built-in blower forces air through the heat sink, supporting the IP10 open-chassis design while keeping component temperatures within the allowed range. The enclosure stands 390 mm high, 355 mm deep, and 105 mm wide, so it can fit narrow control bays without requiring much lateral space. Its narrow profile also helps when several supply and drive modules must be mounted side by side. Shipping mass is 15 kg, which allows easier manual handling during installation. The open housing helps guard against accidental contact with larger objects while leaving airflow unobstructed for cooling.
