It converts plant AC input into a regulated 300 V DC bus that can feed multiple servo drives from a common source. This arrangement supports coordinated motion in automated production cells and reduces the need for separate supply sections on each axis. The module also combines rectification, energy recovery, and auxiliary 24 V control power in a single housing, which helps simplify cabinet layout for industrial automation. Because several axes can share the same DC link, the supply centralizes power conversion instead of duplicating it in each connected drive.
The module accepts AC 220 V input at 50–60 Hz and tolerates line variations of +15/-10%, while the DC bus can vary by ±15% without tripping. Its rectifier provides 7.5 kW of continuous bus power and can absorb short peaks up to 60 kW during acceleration or regenerative events.
