The Rexroth TVM 2.2-050-W1-115 is an Indramat TVM series power supply module. Main function of the module is to rectify the incoming three-phase input and supply the DC output of the rectifier for powering the Indramat motors and provide the DC high voltage for the drives. Input rating of the module is three-phase 220 / 230 Volts AC. The supported line frequency range is 50 to 60 Hertz. The TVM 2.2-050-W1-115 module is installed in AC drive systems from Indramat and can provide power output for up to six drives. When the drives are in generator mode, the regenerated power is absorbed by the bleeder resistor on the power supply module. Buffer capacitances on the supply module provide the required smoothing. Control voltages for the drive electronics are supplied through the wire ribbon cable.
Rated output of the TVM 2.2-050-W1-115 is 50 Amps. The DC bus of the power supplies carries a rated voltage of 300 Volts DC. During maintenance activities, the TVM 2.2-050-W1-115 supply must be switched off and the DC bus must be allowed to discharge. Failure to follow this recommendation can lead to electric shock and even death. The TVM 2.2-050-W1-115 module requires single phase 115 Volts AC for control electronics. It comes with an integrated blower for cooling. The power supply housing has IP 10 rating as per DIN 40 040. The supply should be installed inside an industrial cabinet where it will be protected from corrosive vapors, dust and moisture. Only relevant personnel should be able to access the cabinet. Humidity class of the supply module is F as per DIN 40 040. The insulation class is C as per DIN VDE 0110. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
