The TVM 2.2-050-22027300-W1/220/380 power supply module is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the TVM Power Supply Modules series. Designed for drive packages in automated machinery, it draws three-phase mains power and generates a stabilized DC link that feeds multiple servo amplifiers and control electronics. Within a cabinet, the unit manages regenerative energy and auxiliary low-voltage rails so motors and controllers receive consistent power during acceleration, braking, and standby.

On the input side, the module accepts 220 V AC at 50 to 60 Hz and remains functional within a +15/-10% tolerance window. Internally, it rectifies this line to 300 V DC and is rated for a continuous bus current of 25 A, while a design current class of 50 A sets conductor sizing and protection. Short acceleration bursts are supported by a 150 A peak for 300 ms, and the overall power class reaches 15 kW. The bleeder network dissipates 450 W continuously or up to 10 kW momentarily, allowing the drive group to return as much as 14 kWs of regenerative energy without overvoltage. Auxiliary rails supply 8 A at 24 V, 1.3 A on the +15 V line, and 1.0 A on the -15 V line for control logic and sensors. Maximum power loss is limited to 580 W, and an internal blower removes the resulting heat.

The module uses internal electronics from series 2 and hardware configuration level 2, which integrates the bleeder, control supplies, and a forced-air channel. Ventilation demand is 30 W, the module weighs 15 kg, and it retains performance at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C. Airflow passes through the slotted chassis rated IP10. When configuration 2 modules are installed in a cabinet, clear intake and exhaust paths must be maintained so the cooling system can operate properly and the protection rating is not compromised.
