The TVM 2.2-050-220/300-W1 is a power supply module that is used to supply the synchronous servo digital drives produced by the company. The supply power to the drives is converted to DC bus voltage from an AC line voltage. The regenerated energy can be fed back into the system when the drives are operated as generators. Alternatively, the energy can be absorbed by the bleeder resistor. The power supply uses wire-ribbon cable to supply voltages. This module comes with an extensive range of monitoring functions. The power supply does the drives can be cut off in the event of trouble. This power supply module forms an integral part of the modular Indramat AC drives. Servo drives with a total continuous output of 4.1 kW can be powered using this supply module.
The TVM 2.2-050-220/300-W1 can be adapted line voltage by means of an autotransformer. There is no need to install semiconductor fuses because the line voltage can be protected with fuses or circuit breakers. This power supply module is able to monitor parameters like temperature and current of drives, motor feedback, and load on the bleeder resistor. A ready-state contact cuts off the power supply to individual drives in case any trouble is encountered. The bleeder resistor can absorb energy when the drives are run in regenerator mode. The continuous and peak regenerated power rating can be increased by combining this power supply module with the TBM 1.2 auxiliary bleeder module. This power supply module is also equipped with a dynamic braking that can halt the drives in case of any fault. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
