The TVM 2.1-050-W1/220V is a power supply module built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TVM Power Supply Modules series. It converts plant-level mains into a regulated DC link and several auxiliary rails that power Indramat drive controllers and their servo axes in automated machining centers, packaging lines, and material-handling cells. Positioned in the control cabinet as the common supply node, it also channels regenerative energy from the connected drives so the motion system stays within normal operating limits. This arrangement lets multiple axes share one centralized supply section inside the cabinet. That centralized layout reduces the need for separate supply hardware across the axis group.

The module accepts a nominal input of 220 V AC, rectifies it, and sustains a DC bus at 300 V. During continuous operation, it delivers 25 A, while overload events lasting 300 ms are supported by a peak capability of 150 A. An internal bleeder stage dissipates up to 0.45 kW so returned braking energy does not overcharge the link. Auxiliary supplies are generated at the same time for control electronics, and type data assigns a system current of 50 A with a power class suited to medium multi-axis cells. Configuration code 1 identifies wiring and bus link options that integrate with second-generation TVM racks.

Thermal load is managed by a 30 W fan that restricts total power loss to 580 W and maintains component temperatures below 55 °C. The energy buffer absorbs up to 14 kWs from decelerating axes, protecting drive electronics from voltage spikes during braking. An enclosure rating of IP10 allows mounting inside a closed cabinet where airborne debris is already filtered. The assembly weighs 15 kg, and its 15 kW type rating matches drives listed for series 2 systems while supporting stable bus voltage during demanding duty cycles. Repeated deceleration cycles can therefore be handled without relying on an external energy-handling stage.
