The Rexroth TVM 2.1-050-W1/220V is an Indramat TVM series power supply module. It is designed to give optimal rated output when the ambient conditions are as follows: less than 1000 meters altitude and ambient temperature between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius. Outside these ambient conditions the output of the module will be less than the rated value. Rated output of the TVM 2.1-050-W1/220V is 50 Amps. If the temperature exceeds 45 degrees Celsius the output current will start to derate and will reach 80% of 50 Amps at 55 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the output current will also derate for altitude values that exceed 1000 meters, and the derating will reach a maximum value of 35% at 5000 meters. IP 10 rated housing of the power supply is designed for indoor installation.
The TVM 2.1-050-W1/220V is rated for three phase input at 220 Volts AC. An autotransformer can be used to match the AC main supply to the connection voltage. Therefore soft starters are usually not required. Mains connection to the power supply can be protected with the use of circuit breakers of fuses. The protective device is installed on the primary side of the autotransformer. The supply module also requires a separate input of 220 Volts AC (single-phase) for the drive control electronics. An integrated blower is provided to ensure that the ambient temperature is kept within recommended limits. The blower assists with convection cooling. A reset button is provided on the front of the drive. A diagnostics display is also provided on the front of the TVM 2.1-050-W1/220V for monitoring and troubleshooting. All operation and maintenance related activities for the TVM 2.1-050-W1/220V should be performed by trained personnel. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
