The Rexroth Indramat TVM 2.1-050-W1-115V is a TVM series power supply module. It is designed to provide DC voltage to Indramat drive and also to provide control voltages to the drives. The main input to the power supply is 220 Volts AC (three-phase, 50 / 60 Hertz). This three phase input is rectified to produce high DC voltages for the DC drive. The TVM 2.1-050-W1-115V can provide power to a maximum of six Indramat drives. An autotransformer may be required to match the mains AC input to the input of the power supply module. A circuit breaker or fuse can be used to protect the input side of the power supply. An additional input of 115 Volts AC (single phase, 50 / 60 Hertz) is required by the supply for supplying the 15 / 24 Volts DC control voltages for the drives.
Rated output current of the TVM 2.1-050-W1-115V is 50 Amps. The supply DC bus is rated for 300 Volts DC. The continuous power rating for the DC bus is 7.5 kilowatts and the maximum power rating for the DC bus is 60 kilowatts. The TVM 2.1-050-W1-115 module includes a built-in blower for forcing air over the heated surfaces which helps to keep the device cool during operation under load conditions.
