The Rexroth TVM 1.2-050-W1-220 is an Indramat series power supply. It is used in modular Indramat drive systems for providing DC power to motors and DC control voltages to Indramat drives. The TVM 1.2-050-W1-220 is an air cooled module which includes a built-in blower. Output current rating for the supply is 50 Amps. This rated output is only available when ambient conditions recommended by Indramat are followed during operation of the power supply. These recommendations include maximum elevation of 1000 meters and ambient temperature between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius. The power supply output will derate if it is operated outside these recommended values. The output current falls to 80% of rated output at 55 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the output current falls to 65% of the rated output at 5000 meters elevation.
Input of the TVM 1.2-050-W1-220 is rated for three-phase 220 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz. The supply requires single phase 220 Volts AC input for control electronics. For most applications the line voltage can be adapted to TVM input voltage through an autotransformer. The input can be protected by fuses or circuit breakers. The control voltages supplied by the TVM 1.2-050-W1-220 include 24 Volts and 15 Volts. Range of 24 Volt load voltage is 24 to 30 Volts, the continuous current is 10 Amps and the output ripple is 10%. Range of 15 Volt load voltage is 14.9 to 15.1 Volts, the +15 Volts continuous current is 1.3 Amps, the -15 Volts continuous current is 1 Amp and the output ripple is 0.1%. Enclosure of the TVM 1.2-050-W1-220 is IP 10 rated and should be installed inside a suitable industrial cabinet. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
