The Rexroth Indramat TVM 1.2-050-W1-115V is a power supply module. It takes three-phase AC input, converts it to DC and then provides this DC power to Indramat motors and control voltages for the Indramat drives. One TVM series power supply can provide power to more than one drive installed in the same rack. High load capabilities of the control voltage enable connection of up to six drives to one TVM module. Input rating of the TVM 1.2-050-W1-115V is three-phase 220 Volts AC. An autotransformer can be used to adapt the input main voltage. Use of autotransformers also enables limiting of the inrush current. The input line frequency range is 50 to 60 Hertz. The supply requires single phase 115 Volts AC input for control electronics. Voltage on the power supply module DC bus is 300 Volts DC.
The TVM 1.2-050-W1-115V provides two types of control voltages: +24 and ±15 Volts DC. Output current rating for the supply module is 50 Amps. Protection category of the supply enclosure is IP 10 as per DIN 40 050. Ambient conditions recommended by Indramat for the TVM 1.2-050-W1-115V include 41 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit operating temperature and maximum setup height of 1000 meters above sea level. Operation of the supply outside these recommended limits leads to output derating. Operation of the TVM 1.2-050-W1-115V at temperatures exceeding 131 degrees Fahrenheit should be avoided. Similarly, operation of the TVM 1.2-050-W1-115V at altitudes exceeding 5000 meters should be avoided. A ready contact on the supply switches off the power when a malfunction occurs. A diagnostic LED display on the front of the supply enables easy troubleshooting. Indramat recommends that the installation and operation of the module should be done by trained personnel. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
