The TVM 1.2-050-220/300-W1/115/220V is a regulated power supply module built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TVM Power Supply Modules series. This unit delivers stabilized DC-bus energy to Indramat drive controllers and constantly removes regenerated energy through its internal bleeder circuit. By converting three-phase input power into a controlled DC link, the module forms the central energy node in multi-axis automation cabinets, allowing servo amplifiers to share a common supply while maintaining safe voltage limits during braking cycles. The module also supports orderly energy handling when several connected axes return power to the shared bus during deceleration.

During continuous operation, the module can dissipate 0.30 kW of bleeder power, preventing DC-bus overvoltage when motors decelerate. It supports a continuous output current of 25 A, supplying stable energy to several axes without exceeding thermal limits. The control electronics are powered separately with AC 115 V or 220 V, so auxiliary circuits stay energized even when the main DC link is disabled. Heat is removed by a built-in air blower, eliminating the need for panel fans and keeping internal components within the permitted temperature range. The line connection is designed for AC 220 V and is used with a protective earth conductor. After rectification and filtering, the unit provides a stabilized DC bus of DC 300 V, which is held within limits by the bleeder resistor and monitored by internal logic. A type current of 50 A indicates the peak charging capability available during start-up or rapid load changes. Configuration code 2 and series index 1 are part of the product designation. An overall voltage tolerance of ± 10 % helps the module handle transient supply fluctuations without upsetting the connected drive system.
