Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the TVM 1.2-050-220/300-W1, a power supply module in the TVM Power Supply Modules series. It sits in the DC link of a drive pack, converting incoming AC power into a stabilized bus voltage and supplying auxiliary control voltages so several servo drives can share one source. That arrangement supports grouped servo axes that operate from a common DC bus during coordinated motion. The code 1.2 identifies series 1, configuration 2, while the remaining characters indicate the module’s current and voltage class for industrial automation axes.
The input stage accepts a single-phase line at AC 220 V and operates at 50 to 60 Hz. The rectifier tolerates line variation from +15% to -10%, which helps the module remain within its intended input range during normal supply fluctuation. Inside the unit, the rectifier and capacitor section produce a regulated DC 300 V bus, and the bleeder unloads the bus at 0.30 kW to help prevent overvoltage. Normal operation supplies 25 A, while short demand can rise to 150 A for 300 ms during acceleration. A 24 V rail can source 4 A for I/O, the ±15 V tap provides 0.85 A for feedback electronics, the type current is 50 A, and the module has a rated output capacity of 15 kW. The absorption network can also take 14 kWs of regenerated energy without extra resistors.
Thermal limits are managed by a built-in blower that draws 30 W and holds device losses to 550 W. With forced airflow, the module operates in ambient temperatures up to 55 °C and at mounting heights up to 1000 m. The enclosure has an IP10 rating, so the cabinet provides the required finger-safe isolation while the housing remains open to airflow. Because the enclosure is not sealed against dust or water, free air exchange is maintained through the installed cabinet arrangement. The assembly weighs 15 kg, which suits fixed panel mounting in multi-axis cabinets.
