The TVM 1.2-050-200/300-W1 is a regulated power supply module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TVM Power Supply Modules series. In an automation cabinet, it rectifies and stores energy from a three-phase mains line and then feeds a stabilized DC bus to connected servo drives, while an internal bleeder circuit dissipates regenerated energy from decelerating axes. The unit belongs to series 1 and configuration 2 within the product group, so it matches the mechanical and electrical interface used in modular drive systems for machine tools, packaging lines, and material-handling axes.
Its mains side is designed for an input line of AC 200 V, so matching transformers are unnecessary where that supply is standard. The module accepts network frequencies between 50 to 60 Hz, allowing operation on either of the common industrial supply frequencies. Safe operation is maintained even when the line fluctuates within a tolerance of ± 15%, which helps the DC bus remain stable during normal plant variation. Internally, the rectifier and filter produce a nominal bus level of DC 300 V for the attached axis controllers. Commanded enable or inhibit changes are limited to 6/min, a switching rate that helps reduce stress on the power semiconductors and contact elements. Thermal control relies on a built-in blower, and the housing carries an IP10 rating, which is suitable for installation inside a closed electrical cabinet with forced airflow.
