The 109-0524-4B03-03 power module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TVM Power Supply Modules series. It converts three-phase mains energy into a stabilized DC link for coordinated servo drive groups in industrial automation systems. By combining rectification, energy storage, and controlled dissipation in one housing, the unit supplies intermediate circuit voltage and a 24 V logic rail to connected drive controllers. It is intended for centralized supply duty in servo cabinets where several motion axes operate from the same DC bus.

This module accepts a nominal input of 220 V AC, and the design tolerates supply variations of ±15% without derating. Internally, it generates a DC link of 300 V DC that can be delivered continuously at a rated output of 50 A, and transient demands up to 150 A are supported during acceleration events. The auxiliary 24 V rail supports control electronics with up to 8 A of current. The IP10 housing limits ingress to objects larger than 50 mm, so the module is intended for installation inside a cabinet. Configuration 2 indicates the connection hardware and bus bar orientation used with compatible TVM drives. Forced-air cooling is provided by an internal blower that consumes 30 W and removes heat from the power semiconductors during continuous operation.

In dynamic drive groups, the power stage must absorb regenerated energy during braking and deceleration. This unit can feed back up to 15 kW to the mains, while its bleeder network dissipates 10 kW during peaks and 450 W continuously to keep the DC bus within limits. A storage capacitor bank accepts 14 kWs of regenerated energy before the bleeder engages, which helps control bus voltage during reversing cycles and other operating states that return energy from the motors. Total thermal dissipation is capped at 580 W, a value used when sizing enclosure airflow and heat removal. The metal enclosure weighs 15 kg, which supports stable panel mounting in standard industrial cabinets.
