The TVD1.3-15-03 power supply module is engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TVD Power Supply Modules series. Installed inside a common DC bus cabinet, it converts three-phase input power into a stable DC link that feeds multiple servo amplifiers and motion controllers. The module also provides an auxiliary 24 V rail for control logic and manages braking energy through integrated bleeder circuitry, making it suitable for coordinated industrial automation systems where drive density and thermal control must share limited panel space. By generating the shared DC link inside one supply stage, it supports multi-axis layouts that distribute power across several connected servo sections.

Under steady load, the unit can furnish a continuous DC bus capability of 15 kW while maintaining a nominal bus potential of 320 VDC. It can supply up to 50 A DC to downstream inverters, and a 0.3-second surge window allows delivery of 45 kW so rapid acceleration does not collapse the link voltage. Regenerated energy is routed to an internal resistor bank rated for 1 kW of continuous dissipation, while the basic loss is 75 W and total heat rejection with the bleeder disabled reaches 330 W. A protection rating of IP10 indicates finger-safe openings while still allowing convection airflow.

The auxiliary output supports peripheral devices such as sensors, relays, and interface circuits that depend on a stable control voltage. The 24 V service port can source 7.5 A to sensors and relays. The peak bleeder channel momentarily absorbs 40 kW, and the braking circuit can handle up to 60 kWs of returned energy without tripping the connected drive system. Continuous operation is supported until ambient temperatures reach 55 °C, after which derating is required. The module weighs 11.2 kg, which is relevant when planning cabinet support and installation.
