The Rexroth Indramat TVD 1.3-08-03-S100 is a power supply module. It can be directly connected to three-phase AC supply at 380 to 480 Volts AC. The TVD 1.3-08-03-S100 is intended to provide DC power to digital drives from Rexroth Indramat. An AC drive system form Indramat is comprised of three main components which are the AC drive, the power supply and the auxiliary units. Different versions of these three components can be combined to create a solution which is tailored to customer requirements. The TVD 1.3-08-03-S100 is rated for 7.5 kilowatts DC bus continuous power. DC bus voltage for the supply is 320 Volts DC. The supply rectifies the incoming AC power and provides regulated DC bus circuit voltage to the drives. Smoothing is accomplished through the use of a buffer capacitor.
When the drive is operating in generator mode, the power which is regenerated is absorbed by the bleeder resistor and turned into heat. An internal contactor on the TVD 1.3-08-03-S100 can be used to disconnect the drives from the mains supply. The supply can sustain peak DC power of 22.5 kilowatts for 0.3 seconds. The bleeder continuous power rating is 0.5 kilowatts and the bleeder peak power rating is 20 kilowatts. During operation the TVD 1.3-08-03-S100 dissipates 180 Wats power when operating at peak power. Weight of the TVD 1.3-08-03-S100 is approximately 10.5 kilograms. The TVD 1.3-08-03-S100 can supply control voltage at 22 to 26 Volts DC and 7.5 Amps continuous current. Recommended temperature range for power supply operation is from 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. Operation of the TVD 1.3-08-03-S100 at temperatures exceeding 55 degrees Celsius can lead to supply damage and should be avoided. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
