Product Description:
The TVD 1.2-15-03 B/5 is used with an additional DC bus capacitance in plant operations where feed axes have to be accelerated and broken in continuous succession. Such accelerated applications include nipple machines, surface grinders, and roll feeds. Interconnecting the power supply module with an E-stop relay and DC bus dynamic braking system offers an excellent protected unit at a low cost. The E-stop relay functions together with the monitoring devices built into the drive system. The relay is used in larger plants where; monitoring or several E-stop switches are required, the TVD module is supplying feed drives only and synchronous inductance drives are connected on the same TVD supply unit. Pressing the E-stop button will make the power supply contactor drop out and the velocity command in the connected drives switch to zero, stopping all controllers.
Bosch Rexroth manufactures the power supply module with extensive monitoring functions, which communicate with the drive modules via the ribbon cable. The TVD supply module provides a power of +24VL and +/-15VM to all connected drive units. The power supply is operated with systems of 3 x AC 380 to 480V without a transformer. Whenever there is a power failure, the signal voltages are transmitted from the DC bus circuit. The spindle drives then operate as generators enabling its electronic components to remain functional.
The TVD 1.2-15-03 B/5 has an extreme load capability of the control voltage. Up to ten drive modules can be mounted to one power supply module. The device is manufactured as per the UL standards, designed for operations at an ambient temperature ranging from +5 to +45 degrees Celsius. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
