The Rexroth TVD 1.1-15-03 is a power supply module which is designed for direct connection to AC mains supply. It can be used with three-phase AC supplies operating at 380 to 480 Volts AC. Power supplies from the TVD series can be used with modular AC drive systems from Rexroth Indramat. In addition to a power supply, an Indramat AC drive system is composed of auxiliary units and drive modules. The main function of a TVD supply such as the TVD 1.1-15-03 is rectification i.e. conversion of AC main supply to DC power for supply to the drives. Continuous DC bus power rating for the TVD 1.1-15-03 is 15 kilowatts. DC bus on the power supply is rated at 320 Volts DC. The supply also includes an internal contactor which can be used for disconnecting the drives from the mains.
In addition to providing DC power for the drives, the TVD 1.1-15-03 also provides +24 Volts / ±15 Volts power for the drive electronics modules. When a power failure occurs, these voltages for the drive electronics are supplied by the DC bus circuit. A ribbon cable is provided on the TVD 1.1-15-03 which is used for communication with the connected drives. Maximum DC bus power for the TVD 1.1-15-03 is 45 kilowatts. This power output can be sustained for up to 0.3 seconds only. The bleeder peak power is 40 kilowatts and the bleeder continuous power rating is 1 kilowatt. During operation with maximum output power, the TVD 1.1-15-03 dissipates 330 Watts. Approximate weight of the power resupply module is 11 kilograms. All installation and maintenance related activities for the supply must be performed by trained personnel. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
