The TDA 1.3-050-3-A00 is a drive control system that supports advanced motion control applications in the industry. The drive controller facilitates the use of an AC drive system with the 2AD and 1MB (asynchronous and frameless motors) produced in the industry. It is possible to use the motor’s spindle for the main spindle function or for C-axis operations with this device. A high resolution motor feedback device is installed with the motor’s main spindle. The closed loop feedback mechanism serves as an efficient method to reliably detect the rotor’s position in real time. The main function of the feedback device is to compare actual and programmed motor drive parameters. In case of a mismatch between real and programmed values, the feedback device triggers a corrective response and removes any mismatch between actual and programmed values. As a result, real time control over speed and position is possible.

The TDA 1.3-050-3-A00 comes with incremental encoder output for thread cutting by NC controller in C-axis mode. The important drive parameters can be saved and loaded through a PC using a serial interface. Up to 3600 different positions can be selected using a PLC. This is possible because of input for the digital position command. The device can also be interfaced with the SERCOS interface, digital speed command, and analog speed command. It is possible to connect this device to commercially available NC controllers with a 10 V analog speed command interface. The device is integrated with the 2AD and 1MB motors produced by the company. This product can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
