The device can supply accurate position signals for incremental encoders via an optional output. This ensures that accurate information on spindle position is provided to the NC controls. The high resolution encoder makes it possible to control speeds and position at relatively low speeds. The incremental encoder makes it possible to operate at a resolution of 360 000 increments per revolution when operating in servo axis mode.
The TDA 1.3-050-3-A0D is designed to achieve high positional accuracy with the 2AD and 1MB motors. At a constant power output, the device is able to function at a wide range of speeds. This model’s current rating is 100 A and its continuous effective current rating is 70 A. This model has a mass of just 10.5 kg and it requires a 160 mA power consumption at 15 V load voltage.
