The TDA 1.1-50-3-API is a state-of-the-art main spindle controller designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat under ideal industrial conditions and according to international quality standards. This controller is produced by highly trained engineers, it features a modular design and maintains a high operation efficiency. The main spindle controller is designed to carry out the intelligent digital control of INDRAMAT asynchronous main spindle motor of the 2AD series, and the 1MB frameless spindle motor with a continuous power rating of 3 to 10 kilowatts at the motor shaft. This main spindle drive is characterized by the high accuracy it maintains over a broad motor speed range, this makes it particularly to be used on numerically controlled machine tool centers. Apart from the ability of the controller to maintain a high accuracy over a wide speed range, it also features an integral position control circuit which is capable of automatically positioning the spindle with a maximum resolution of 1/4, 000,000 revolutions in response to a signal.

A control panel featuring a one-line display unit and special pressure sensitive keys is integrated into the front panel of the spindle controller. This controller allows for easy configuration, diagnosis and troubleshooting operation on the main spindle controller. The controller is designed according to the IP 10 protection class, to ensure optimum protection, it should be installed into an additional control cabinet that can provide protection that meets at least the IP54 protection class.

The TDA 1.1-50-3-API industrial main spindle controller operates with a link circuit rated voltage of about 300 volts, it also requires a rated input current of about 50 amperes during operation. The total weight of the controller is about <<10.5 kilograms.
